Paul Marciano, President and Creative Director of GUESS?, Inc. made her a “GUESS? Girl” in 1986 when she was just 19 years old. Estelle appeared in six GUESS? advertising campaigns with the likes of Jill Goodacre, Suzanne Lanza, Frederique Van Der Wal, Yasmin Le Bon and Carl Bruni. Represented by IMG Models, New York and Karin Models in Paris, Estelle has appeared in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition in 1993 and was named as one of People magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People in 1994. Estelle also appeared in George Michael’s Too Funky music video. She currently hosts a fashion/travel show on French television and has completed a book called Estelle by Estelle, My Beauty Secrets. Estelle married French musician David Hallyday and has a daughter named Ilona.
