Brought to you by GUESS.com.  The minute Chris Oprysk walked through GUESS?' doors for a showroom casting, it was over or just beginning, depending on how you look at it. With his high cheek bones and sculpted body, he was the epitome of the GUESS? man. Chris was not cast for the showroom shoot that day, but instead was chosen to be featured in GUESS?' Fall 2000 advertising campaign, shot by Pablo Alfaro.     Chris, who moved furniture to make ends meet, was discovered in a New York City dance club one night and, as he says, "the rest is history." Now he spends his days running around the city on castings or jetting off to exotic locations for a photo shoot.   The GUESS? campaign brought Chris to a gorgeous stretch of land between San Francisco and Santa Cruz, California, where he was up bright and early everyday to get prepared for a long day of shooting. "The 5 am wake up call was a bit tough, but after some coffee I was ready to go. It was a beautiful location and the people were fantastic. We all became good friends." Standing 6'1", this brown-haired, brown-eyed Bronx native spends his down time hanging out with friends or keeping his apartment and car squeaky clean. His interests are quite diverse, counting the gym as his biggest hobby and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory his favorite movie. And, when he flips on the radio, it is most likely going to be hip hop or rap coming out of the speakers. Chris lists Big Pun, Jay-Z, Notorious BIG and The Lox among his favorite artists. Although he doesn't know where he sees himself in the future, Chris gives this advice for model wanna-bes: "Go for it and don't give up. Somebody will like your look somewhere." Who knows, you could even be discovered the next time you go out to a club!
