Brought to you by guess.com.  Born in San Francisco, California, Carré Otis is an all-American girl. With brown hair and greenish-blue eyes, she began modeling at the tender age of 14 in the Bay Area after a brief stint in acting. At just 15 years old, she moved to New York City to model and began traveling worldwide. Her first major break was landing the cover of French Elle Magazine which gave her international exposure. Paul Marciano, president and creative director of GUESS?, Inc. spotted her amid a slew of other beautiful models and knew she was the next GUESS? Girl. Carré appeared in three consecutive GUESS? advertising campaigns in 1988 shot by Ellen von Unwerth. She says that GUESS? was a very exciting experience for her and that the best part of shooting a GUESS? ad campaign was the great people and the amazing location. Who could blame her? - she spent a week in gorgeous Hawaii. She then spent the next ten years working with some of the most famous fashion photographers including Richard Avedon, Bruce Weber, Herb Ritts, Matthew Rolston, and Ellen Von Unwerth. Carré appeared in the infamous 1996 Pirelli Calendar. She also appeared in the much-talked-about film Wild Orchid with then boyfriend Mickey Rourke. Carré has five tattoos - a rose on her right ankle, a Japanese peace sign above the rose, a Tibetan symbol on her left ankle, a large angel on her back and a Native American Thunderbird on her wrist. Represented by The Dash Group, Carré now resides in Los Angeles where she continues to model as well as pursue an acting career.
